How to Live Life
Ephesians 5:1,2 You are God’s dear children, so try to be like him. Live a life of love. Love others just as Christ loved us. He gave himself for us—a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God.
Living life is something we don’t think much about. It’s like drawing the next breath, you’re just on autopilot. But we can live life well, or we can live life badly, depending on your approach. So what is your approach?
There are a lot of theories out there on how best to live your life. Some people follow Buddhism, Hinduism, Marxism, Islam, Christianity, Secularism, Humanitarianism … and that’s just the beginning.
These days more people than not are into designer religions, a kind of mix-and-match approach. You know, a bit if this, a bit of that, make up your own way to suit yourself. After all, all roads lead to Rome, don’t they? It doesn’t matter what you believe, as long as you believe it sincerely, right?
And can I tell you, even as Christians, we often find ourselves wondering, how should we live our lives? So, what’s my guiding light? What’s the truth that you turn to when nothing else seems to make sense? Well … try this on for size:

I’m not much into the “isms”. I’m definitely not much into a bunch of rules and regulations. But that just seems to make sense to me.
Be like God. Love other people the way God loved me, by becoming a living sacrifice to honour Him.
It kind of sums it all up for me. Because if we’re loving others and honouring God at the same time, though it may be a costly pursuit (and it will be, make no mistake) it’s hard to go wrong.
